Does The National Party support AI safety policies?
Position unclear. The National Party has not clearly stated their position on AI safety policies.
The Coalition says it is “alive to the risks” of AI, including “its implications on legislation and regulations”. It says that “a Coalition government will “take action to deliver clear policy to ensure that we capture the immense opportunities of AI, and address the risks” but does not say what those policies are.
